The relationship between creativity and perfectionism will be brought under scrutiny at an exhibition being held at the Red Lion Hotel, Cromer.

Featuring paintings by Cromer artist Paul Darley and photographs by former Professional Photographer of the Year David Morris, the show aims to convey the idea of being driven by the 'tyranny of the view'.

Mr Darley, who is a member of the East Anglian Group of Marine Artists, is a familiar figure on Cromer beach, where he can often be seen painting local fishermen at work, while Mr Morris has produced photographs for a book featuring the stories of local fishing families.

'Because we have covered similar ground, both live in Cromer and have similar temperaments, it seemed like a good idea to have a joint exhibition,' Mr Morris said.

Obsessive Behaviour, featuring work by Paul Darley and David Morris, runs at the Red Lion, Cromer from April 14-23.
