Four of the finest female fiddle players in British music promise to bring together passion, soul and enormous talent when they take to the stage in Diss.

The tight four-part harmonies and quartet fiddle playing of Carthy, Hardy, Farrell and Young will revive old favourites and initiate new songs when they perform at Diss Corn Hall on Friday, February 8, at 8pm.

Mercury Prize-nominated superstar Eliza Carthy, one of the most impressive and engaging performers of her generation, joins forces with Bella Hardy, winner of the BBC Radio 2 Best Original Song 2012. They are joined by Scotland's rising folk pioneer Kate Young and double folk-award nominee Lucy Farrell.

Four superb voices, four outstanding violinists – rhythms and harmonies in voice and bow – combine to make this the perfect, all-female folk supergroup.

Tickets £12 / £10. To book, contact Diss Corn Hall box office, 11am-4pm, Monday-Saturday, on 01379 652241 or email boxoffice@disscornhall.co.uk
