Some of Norwich's most popular restaurants close their kitchens on a Monday. However we've managed to track down where is still open to feed your grumbling bellies.

• East Twenty Six - Open till 10pm Mondays.

East Twenty Six provides a fresh take on traditional tapas, with their menu consisting of sharing plates for friends to enjoy. Visitors are able to sample a great selection of food as staff recommend sharing around 4 of the small plates between two people. Menus change seasonally but current items include cauliflower shawarma with caramelised onions and hummus smoked lamb shoulder.

• Grosvenor Fish Bar - Open till 7:30pm Mondays.

Grosvenor has quickly become one of the most popular fish and chip spots in the county. The business serves all the usual chip shop fare as well as offering their own quirky ideas, such as a take on Christmas Dinner over the festive period, which was complete with turkey sausages and battered stuffing balls.

• Namaste India - Open from 5:30pm to 10:30pm

An authentic, Indian, family-run restaurant, this Opie Street-based establishment serves a range of traditional vegetarian food from different regions of India. The place is small and cosy and the food is full of flavour. Highlights on the menu include dosas (filled savoury crepes) and the vegetable korma.

• Brick Pizza - Open till 10pm Mondays

A casual pizza venue located just off the Norwich market. Offers classic pizzas flavours using quality local ingredients. There is even an option for vegan diners too.

• The Waffle House - Open till 10pm Mondays

Aside from their iconic waffle dishes, Waffle House also have a varied and colourful menu featuring a range of sweet and savoury flavours. Who said you can't have waffles for tea?

• Wild Thyme - Open till 5pm Mondays

A centrally located vegetarian and vegan cafe. Their food is made onsite daily using only the best local and organic ingredients. They also cater for those on a raw or gluten-free diet too.

• Donnellis Pizzeria - Open till 10pm Mondays

Woodfired pizzas at a great price from Donellis, all named after the many places of Italy which inspire the tasty flavour combinations. They even do dough balls and 'white pizzas' - ones without tomato sauce.

• The Belgian Monk - Open till 11pm Mondays

With a huge menu ranging from mussels to tapas, you'll definitely find something to take your fancy at The Belgian Monk. Why not pair it with a tasty Belgian beer too?

• The Last Wine Bar - closes at 2:30pm, re-opens at 6pm

High-class dining with a variety of flavour combinations. Their menu famously changes on a daily basis - perfect if you love surprises.

• The Assembly House - Open till 10:30pm Monday

Although considered more of an afternoon tea and coffee venue, Norwich's Assembly House is actually open until 10:30pm on Mondays. They offer and lunch and early supper menu too.
