Community groups can access up to 10,000 for history and heritage projects, thanks to a new scheme at the University of East Anglia.
The Research in the Community Heritage Project, or Ideas Bank, brings together UEA academics with community groups to bid for Heritage Lottery Fund money.
Ideas Bank experts and partners will offer advice as groups apply for funds, and projects can be about any aspect of community history or heritage.
Dr Sarah Spooner, of the School of History, said: 'We want to find out what communities are interested in researching, and are keen to share our knowledge.'
See www.uea.ac.uk/his/ideas-bank for details.
