Thousands of Norfolk families have turned out for a spooktacular event at Holkham Hall.
More than 3,000 people flocked to the hall for the event packed with face-painting, creepy cake decorating, and a birds of prey special.
Families from across the county donned their Skeletor masks and Cruella De Vil wigs - children and parents alike.
'It's been fantastic,' said visitor operations manager, Ian Wolfe.
'It hasn't rained so we had the weather with us - the birds of prey did have a slightly more challenging time though because it was windy.'
The Norfolk Wild Encounters' birds of prey proved a particular hit with visitors, as would-be wizards could have their photo taken with their very own owl perched on their arm.
On the first day, 129 pumpkins were carved by children and more than 300 cupcakes were decorated at Holkham's Old Kitchen with the 'Kiddy Cook' team.
'The hall looks fantastic. The highlight for me had to be seeing where the children have been decorating the cupcakes with Kiddy Cook,' Mr Wolfe said.
'We decorated the main hall especially and had bugs decorating the chandeliers, and pumpkins lining the staircase. It looked amazing.'
The site has seen the footfall for its annual Halloween event rise every year.
'It just motivates us to be bigger and better every time,' said Mr Wolfe, who has worked at Holkham Hall for three years.
'We've seen more families turn out year-on-year. Our busiest day is always Thursday, the day we open, but we've still seen 1,200 people turning out on Friday and across the weekend.'
There were also events to crown the heroes of the Halloween season.
Fancy dress parades took place throughout the event from October 26 to 29, with the pumpkin-carving winner announced on the final day of the extravaganza.
Holkham marketing manager Laurane Herrieven said the event was proving a success.
She said: 'So many families have come dressed for the occasion and shown their support. It has really exceeded expectations.'
'The best costume I saw had to be a little boy dressed up as what I think was Skeletor - it was so funny.' added Mr Wolfe.
