Victory has tasted sweet and citrusy for the winner of Norfolk's first Marmalade Making Awards.
Organised by the Norfolk Deli in Hunstanton, the awards saw 20 marmalade makers put their homemade preserves to the test.
Entries included everything from traditional Seville orange marmalade, to clementine marmalade flavoured with Norfolk Gin and a five-fruit variation. In the end, an organic Seville marmalade, made by Linda Brady from King's Lynn, was crowned the winner.
Norfolk Deli's managing director Mark Kacary said competition was cooked up as a way to encourage people to make the most of seasonal Seville oranges, the favourite variety for making the bittersweet preserve.
The entries were judged by award winning marmalade maker Ali Barwick and deli co-owner Rosie Kacary.
Ms Kacary said: 'What amazed me was the diversity of the marmalades and the creativity of our customers.'
