A steakhouse chain established in west Norfolk has now opened a restaurant in Peterborough – its seventh and largest restaurant so far.
Middletons Steakhouse & Grill, first launched in Middleton near King's Lynn, opened its latest restaurant on Friday after a £1m refurbishment.
Managing director Stephen Hutton said: 'The welcome we've received so far has been fantastic, and we hope diners enjoy everything our steakhouse offers.'
The Peterborough restaurant, in St Peter's Arcade, Bridge Street, seats 180 diners on two floors inside, and a further 50 outside. It has generated up to 60 full-time and part-time catering and hospitality jobs in the city centre.
The restaurant chain launched in July 2011 when it opened its first restaurant close to its west Norfolk butchery. It now has seven steakhouses, including Norwich and King's Lynn, employs 350 people and turns over nearly £15m a year.
