This year's Festival Too will see big names like Busted and KT Tunstall performing on stage in King's Lynn in one of Europe's biggest free festivals.
The annual festival begins this Saturday with the Bootleg Bee Gees in King's Staithe Square followed by a grand fireworks display.
Sunday will see a jazz-themed afternoon with performances by East Anglian bands Redemption and DixieMix, a first for Festival Too.
Police have issued safety tips ahead of the festival, with previous events attracting crowds of almost 12,000 people to the Tuesday Market Place.
Visitors should stick closely with friends, keep a close eye on personal belongings and plan ahead when travelling to and from the festival.
For the first time in the festival's history, bag searches and metal detector tests will be carried out at all entry points in the Tuesday Market Place.

Superintendent Terry Lordan said: 'My advice is to take sensible precautions, keep belongings close-by and stay aware of your surroundings. Where possible, make sure your mobile phone is fitted with a tracking device or app, which can help police locate stolen property.'
'Allow extra time when attending the festival. Bag checks will be carried out by the event's security team and we want to make sure you get into the event before the acts start to perform.
'This is a family friendly event and we will be on hand to make sure you have a great time where we will 'meet you there'.
