The company is on the hunt for youngsters to play the von Trapp children, including Liesl and Rolf.

Susan Booth, artistic director, said: “I want to encourage as many people as possible to get in touch and come along and audition, enthusiasm is just as important if not more so than previous experience. We’ll be auditioning the adult parts later in September so anyone interested in those parts also needs to get in touch.”

The company will be touring the show around Norfolk from June 21 2013 through to July 13 2013. The idea is to have two teams of youngsters and is a great opportunity for anyone over the age of 5.

Auditions will be held at Parkside School, Norwich, between August 30 and September 1. For further details, call 01603 413037 or email d.gothard@btinternet.com
