A winter feast and party will take place at Amoghasiddhi Kadampa Buddhist Centre and Oasis World Peace Cafe in Attleborough on Saturday, December 8.
This annual festive celebration and fundraiser – which includes a visit from special guest Spirit of Winter, poetry readings and live music – will celebrate a year of inner growth and helping inner peace to flourish in Norfolk and Suffolk.
The evening starts with warm spiced punch at 6.30pm, followed by a home-made four-course meal, then hot drinks and live music.
Arrive early if you would like to join prayers to Buddha Tara at 6pm.
For tickets – £15 per adult, £5 per child – call the centre in Queens Square on 01953 451937 or visit www.amoghasiddhi.org.uk
As the gates to the Royal Hospital Gardens at Chelsea opened to the world’s media yesterday, with a frenzy of activity as photographers and camera crews vied for the best vantage points, there was also a very palpable sense of relief among the hundreds of nurserymen and women who have come to exhibit their prize horticultural specimens that their stands were complete and looking their very best.
