British pop music’s breakthrough star of 2012 Rita Ora has been added to the line-up of this summer’s Sundown Festival at the Norfolk Showground.

The Serbian-born blonde had three UK number-one singles last year, more than any other act, and her debut album, Ora, also went to number one.

The 22-year-old R&B singer will appear on the festival’s main stage line-up on Saturday, August 31, alongside rapper and singer Example and DJ Fresh, whose number-one hit Hot Right Now she provides the vocals for.

Boy band JLS and solo singer Jessie J are then lined up as the headline acts for the festival’s second night on Sunday, September 1.

Sundown Festival spokesman, Dion Clements, said: “Being able to announce we’ve added the amazing Rita Ora to the line-up at Sundown Festival 2013, along with Jessie J, Example, JLS and DJ Fresh having already been announced, is just awesome!

“Rita’s another big artist who brings a real buzz with her.”

Around 25,000 music fans packed into the showground for each day of last year’s Sundown, which was headlined by the likes of Olly Murs and Chase & Status.

All ticket types go on sale at 10am tomorrow morning – but only tickets booked in the first 48 hours will be at last year’s prices of £29.50 for a day ticket, £55 for a weekend ticket or £90 for a weekend ticket with camping.

For more information, or to book tickets for the festival, go to www.nationalboxoffice.co.uk, or call 0871 224 1112 or 1113.
