The Rackheath Players will be staging their annual February pantomime this week, and this year it’s Dick Whittington.

Adapted by John Morley, the pantomime tells the story of cheeky young Dick Whittington, who goes to London to seek his fortune.

There he meets Tommy the Cat and rat poison merchant Fitzwarren, and together they travel to rat infested Morocco, to meet the evil Sultan, with plenty of cheeky jokes and audience help along the way.

The pantomime is being staged at Rackheath Village Hall, on Green Lane West, from this Thursday evening, through to Saturday..

The show is being performed each day at 7.30pm, with a matinee performance at 2.30pm on the Saturday. Tickets are £6 for adults, £5 for concession or £20 for a family ticket, for two adults and two children. To buy tickets, call 07552 086982.
