JAZZ and swing standards will fill the foyer on Sunday evening as the Queen's Theatre welcomes back Upminster singer Helen Keating and her band.

Performing the hits of Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Dizzy Gillespie, Cole Porter, Fats Waller and many more, Helen has more than 30 years of showbiz experience.

A grandmother-of-five, she is always a big favourite with audiences at the Queen's and has performed at the Hornchurch Jazz Club, The 606, London's famous Spice of Life and various jazz festivals all over the UK.

She has also worked with comedians Sir Norman Wisdom, Benny Hill and Dick Emery and acted on popular TV programmes such as The Sweeney, Minder, London's Burning and EastEnders.

"Jazz is the love of my life," says Helen. "I am really looking forward to bringing some nostalgic, toe-tapping music to Hornchurch audiences. It will be a feelgood, uplifting evening."

7.30pm start.
