Town councillors Diane Fernee and Robert Savage have tabled a motion to postpone the sale of Kings Head Meadow to Asda for a store development. The motion, which will be discussed at Fairland Church from 7.30pm on Tuesday, has called on the scheme to be suspended until the results of the Wymondham Area Action Plan are known and a full business case regarding the possible sale of the meadow by Wymondham Town Council is prepared. The site is the home of Wymondham Town FC.
