The Lloyd Addison's Moveable Feast, in aid of Parkinson's UK, has sold out

Norwich’s Moveable Feast has sold out.

The popular event, which is part of the EDP Adnams Norfolk Food and Drink Festival in association with Norfolk County Council, sees hundreds of diners moving through the city to enjoy three courses at three different independent restaurants.

Last night, the feast’s sponsors, Cozens-Hardy Solicitors, announced it had sold out.

Philippa Rudd, from the company, said: “We are delighted to sponsor the Moveable Feast for a second year and thrilled that the event is a sell out.

“The Moveable Feast is a terrific way to showcase the city’s impressive restaurant scene, while helping to raise vital funds for Parkinson’s UK.”

The Moveable Feast was founded by Lloyd Addison, a former Norwich restaurateur and councillor who died following a battle with Parkinson’s disease in 2008, and raises money each year for Parkinson’s UK.

Jayne Raffles, who with her husband Nigel owns four of the restaurants featured in the Moveable Feast, said: “The event always generates a fantastic party atmosphere, with guests given the chance to eat in restaurants they may otherwise not heard of or had the opportunity to try. And we are proud to support this very worthwhile charity in memory of Lloyd Addison.”
