The Fayre View Restaurant, in Lower Denmark Street, Diss, proved to have the perfect recipe for diners who voted the restaurant their top choice in a competition run in the EDP in October. Chris Gissing, the restaurant’s proprietor, said the award would make his business known to a wider audience because at the moment few people outside Diss were aware of the Fayre View. “It is always nice to win things, especially when the people voting are our actual customers who come in and vote for you, it means all that much more and it makes it all that much more worthwhile,” he added.
