Divas set for Diss Christmas concerts

South Norfolk singing group Merely Divas are gearing up for two performances of their Christmas concert, which was a sell out last year.
The all-female singing group was founded in 2008 and has so far raised well in excess of £9,000 for both local and national charities.
Both performances under the musical direction of Michael Dann will take place at Diss Methodist Church on Friday, December 14 and Saturday, December 15 starting at 7.30pm.
Merely Divas will be supported vocally by members of Discord with around 100 voices joining together to
sing some of your favourite Christmas songs and carols.

As the gates to the Royal Hospital Gardens at Chelsea opened to the world’s media yesterday, with a frenzy of activity as photographers and camera crews vied for the best vantage points, there was also a very palpable sense of relief among the hundreds of nurserymen and women who have come to exhibit their prize horticultural specimens that their stands were complete and looking their very best.
