This is a new choral composition inspired by the haunting landscape around the Waveney and Blyth rivers, and their journey from source to sea.

Norfolk-born composer Karen Wimhurst has captured the essence of the specially commissioned poems of Joanna Guthrie, who grew up at Thrandeston and has this landscape in her bones.

It will be performed by the Waveney and Blyth Arts Community Choir led by Sian Croose (Big Sky, Voice Project), with Karen Wimhurst on solo clarinet. Richard Mabey, the highly-acclaimed nature writer, will also give an illustrated presentation about the flora, fauna and landscape.

Tickets £10 / £8 concessions. Box office 11am-4pm, Monday-Saturday, 01379 652241 or email boxoffice@disscornhall.co.uk
