Two men have been arrested after a teenager was stabbed in Norwich city centre.

Police were called to Surrey Street at 1.47pm on Tuesday after reports of a stabbing.

The victim, a 19-year-old man, had been stabbed in the leg.

Two men, both in their 40s, were later arrested in the Norwich area in connection with the incident.

The pair have since been released under investigation.

Witnesses reported seeing a large police presence in the area and the scene was taped off.
