Business leaders will be able to catch up on the latest changes in tax and regulations at a briefing next week.
The Norfolk branch of the Institute of Directors (IoD) will be hosting an update from the IoD's head of taxation Stephen Herring in Norwich on Wednesday, where he will discuss tax and regulations with business leaders.
Mr Herring regularly meets with the chancellor of the Exchequer and is lobbying the government over business rates relief.
He said: 'The impact of the often substantial business rates revaluation hike is closing many SMEs as well as some much larger retailers. It should be number one priority for additional tax reliefs.'
The Tax Update breakfast event is open to both IoD members and non-members, and will take place at Lovewell Blake's offices on Broadland Business Park. Bookings can be made via www.iod.com/events-community/regions/east-of-england.
