An unbeaten century partnership between Matt Taylor (81 not out) and Matthew Castellan (85no) helped Hillington post a challenging score of 232-5 in Division One.

Taylor then continued his man of the match performance with excellent figures of 12-4-21-7 to see Castle Acle bowled out for just 62 in reply.

Alan Thurlbourne hit 48 as Denver edged Castle Rising by five runs. Darren Clarke's 65 wasn't enough to inspire his side in reply. Sandringham moved up to second by beating Heacham by 42 runs. They remain 17 points behind Bircham who had a bye this weekend.

Snettisham's bowlers, including Gary Raines (3-31), held their nerve to see off Terrington by just 10 runs.

In Division Two, Holt remain top after beating Hospital by 137 runs. Ciaran Chapman (63) and Michael Curtis (4-38) were in fine form. Northwold, inspired by Adi Seymour (46 no and 5-45), couldn't quite see off Hockwold.

Sandringham won their first match comfortably by bowling out Gayton for 72, Narborough crushed Gooderstone by eight wickets (Jack Crisp, 6-25) while Downham B suffered their first defeat after being dismissed for 90 against Swaffham A.

Division Three Thornham posted the highest total of the weekend, scoring 261-4 against previously unbeaten Fakenham thirds.

Christopher Burgess bagged 44, James Rix top scored with 80 and with Peter O'Connor, who hit 79, put on 121 for fourth wicket. Thornham completed a 138-run victory after bowling Fakenham all out for 123 with James Rix taking 5-16 and Christopher Williamson 3 -23.

Bircham A scored 227-3 against Gooderstone A with Paul Brown scoring 73, Luke Hills an unbeaten 63 and Jamie Tuck 43. Bircham A went on to win by 100 runs after bowling Gooderstone all out for 127 with Stu Able taking 3-11.

Denver A beat Beeston by 27 runs while, elsewhere, Castle Rising scored 161-7 in their match.

However, Snettisham A successfully completed the run chase to win by seven wickets. Damien Twiddy (46), Steve Grief (39) and Danny Suckling (38) did the business with the bat.
