Tumbling stars from King’s Lynn Gymnastic Club bagged a stunning 21 medals at the weekend’s national championships.

Seventeen gymnasts competed at the first National Team Tumbling competition of the year in Wakefield, Yorkshire, and returned to Lynnsport having excelled among 150 competitors.

The club entered four teams, with each one picking up a medal. There were golds for the ‘Springer Boys’ (Harry Bassett, Ben Rayner and Andreas Hadjou) and Junior Boys teams (Owen Stannard, Reece Emsley, Daniel Corbyn, Sam Slater and Luke Winner).

Corbyn (Junior Boys) and Dong Ting Xu (Springer Girls) also bagged gold medals in their individual categories while Hadjou and Winner picked up silver medals in theirs.

The club’s Springer Girls came home with a silver.
