Crusaders moved above Newmarket and out of the bottom two with an important 33-26 victory at their fellow strugglers.
The visitors built up a big lead before being pegged back but held on to return to Norfolk with a much needed five points.
They scored five tries in all, with Rob Kingsley getting a couple and Lewis Smith, Sam Barker and Greg Thurston also crossing the line.
All but one of the scores were converted, with Ryan Harris (3) and Rob Loone doing the honours.
A timely second league win of the season put Crusaders two points ahead of Newmarket and only six behind Wisbech, who are ninth in the table.
West Norfolk kept clear of bottom two by recording their fourth win, an impressive 30-19 success at Woodbridge, while Lowestoft & Yarmouth remain rock bottom after losing 52-5 at home to third-placed Ely. They remain on minus five points after 13 straight defeats which includes a concession at Holt.
