It was back to league action in the Norwich Sunday League following the County Cup fixtures on what was for a change, a bright sunny morning.

In the Premier Division, leaders Schoolhouse went down to a single Jason Armes goal at Riverside Rovers, but stay top on goal difference from DE FC who came from 3-1 down to take a point at home to Acle Rangers. Fionn Goodwin-Wright, George Diggens and an own goal were the DE scorers. Chris Lay hit a hat trick as Poringland Wanderers moved up to third with a 6-3 win over Bungay Town. Ben Fowkes, Ryan Cook and Matt Brighton also scored whilst Pat Hudson (2), and Steven Thompson replied for the visitors. Horsford United gained their first win of the season, beating Farmhouse 4-2. Danilo Compoli (2), Michael Thirkettle and Graham Moss scored for the home side

In Division One, Dan Thorpe, Craig Mckail, Jake Hagg, Ashley Smith, Lee Roper, Jeff Ayigsi and Matty Hoeppner all scored as Hewett Old Boys returned to winning ways, beating Rose Athletic 7-1.

Longdale Rovers scored six (James Thompson 2, Louis Brown, Tom Dixon, Jamie Metcalf, Bradley Warr) of the 11 goals at home to Norwich CEYMS, whilst Aslacton and Windmill Wanderers drew 1-1.

Despite not having a game, Woolpack stay top of Division Two on goal difference from Marlborough who scored five without reply at Sprowston Ath Wildcats. Briston Wanderers won by the odd goal in five at Mad Moose Ath and there was a 2-0 home win for Mischief over Mettingham. Vale Longo gained their first victory of the season, 4-2 at Hethersett Athletic, James Preston (2), Tom Bulley and Callum Warnock scoring.

DCS Rapid made it three from three in Division Three after a narrow 2-1 win at Acle Rangers Res, whilst Harleston Town are second after winning 4-1 at Newsman Celtic.

Hethersett Ath Res continued their good start to life in Division Four, winning 4-0 at Woodton United and top the table on goal difference from Cellar House who were 4-1 victors at Eaton Park Corinthians. AFC Norwich are third courtesy of a 3-0 home win over Nelson Ath and Sporting Iceni ran out 3-2 winners at Rackheath Rangers.
