Potters are however still two points clear at the top of the table after East Anglia failed to capitalise, going down 15-10 to their second team. Gary Snelling and David Youngs both won their matches 3-1 beating Jack Pearse and David Gouldby respectively while Ashley Briggs came from 1-2 down to beat Ashley Bowling 3-2. The first team had to settle for a 3-0 win from John Cordeaux and a 3-1 win from Richard Hunt.

After six successive defeats Barnham Broom won their first match of the season, beating Broadland, who themselves have won only once, 15-9.

In Division One East Anglia III consolidated their position at the top of the table with a comfortable 19-6 victory at home to North Norfolk who have won only once.

After two successive defeats Cromer returned to form in Division Two winning 19-6 away to Broadland III. John Baker and Richard Keeble both won in straight games, Henri Paul beat young Will Henden 3-1 and Ben Herrieven came from behind to beat Justin Miller 9-6 in the fifth. Geoff Roper who also won 9-6 in the fifth beat Alec Burrows to record Broadland’s only win. The Bob Carter Leisure Centre II, formerly known as Wensum Lodge, faced a three man Beccles team and not surprisingly won 17-3.

Finally in Division Four straight game victories for John Milton and Ben Serruys helped Oasis beat Broadland Mixed 16-6. For Broadland John Temple also won in straight games.
