More than 100 teams chased footballing glory on Sunday as Downham Town’s youth set-up held its annual six-a-side tournament.

The weather failed to dampen spirits with some good football being played all all day at one of the largest events of its kind in the country.

Refreshments were laid on throughout the day and Town’s chairman Sandra Calvert thanked all helpers.
