King's Lynn Sunday League Chilvers reached their second successive county cup final by winning 2-1 at Riverside Rovers.

The Division One outfit, who finished runners-up in the Norfolk Junior Cup last term, booked their place in the higher-level Intermediate Cup final with a spirited triumph in Norwich.

Riverside took the lead early in the second-half through ex-Dereham Town striker Scott Sutherland-Gray. But Chilvers' Danny Jezeph made it 1-1 and the pacy frontman scored again to send the visitors through.

In the other semi-final, brave Lynn Napier's hopes of making it an all-Lynn final ended with a 3-1 defeat at Norwich-based Bell Inn. Matty Oakes grabbed the Nap's consolation.

In the Junior Cup semis, Division Two FANG came out on the right side of a five-goal thriller at GY Galaxy. Despite going behind, a brace from Swaffham Town frontman Alex Vincent and a goal from Harry Cunliffe helped FANG reach their third final already this term. Freemasons play favourites Belton in the other semi-final on Sunday.

In league action, sponsored by West Norfolk Scaffolding, Division One leaders Terrington edged out third-placed Wisbech CP8, despite falling behind to their initial 10-man visitors. Jake Beecham gave CP8 the lead before the hosts dug deep to secure three vital points thanks to goals from Robert Palmer and the league's leading scorer Neil Goodbourn. Terrington sit five points clear of England's Hope having played a game more. Both teams still have to play each other twice in April.

In Division Two, William Burt came from behind to beat Maltings 5-2 and take pole position in the four-way race for the two promotion slots. Corey Brady put the visitors in front before a stunning free-kick from Kris Smith doubled Malting's advantage. Chris Edgar's penalty and a brace from Nathan Mitchell put Burt in control before late strikes from Andy Summers and Mitchell, who smashed home a 45-yard volley to complete his hat-trick, sealed their win.

Second-placed Fowler won 2-1 at Adrian Flux to remain three points behind Burt. Peter Sanctuary scored for Flux with Ant Munson netting twice for Fowler.
