Seventy years of the NHS were celebrated at parkruns this weekend. Mark Armstrong rounds up what happened at Lowestoft, King's Lynn and Gorleston
Gorleston
Wymondham AC member Spencer Goodall enjoyed his first visit to Gorleston as they celebrated 70 years of the NHS.
Many runners dressed up for the occasion as Goodall led the 356-strong field home in an impressive time of 17:12.
Marc Evans (Great Yarmouth Road Runners) was just behind in 17:50 with junior runner Billy Heseltine (Bloodhill Runners) third in 17:54.
Youngster Holly Bunn (Bungay Black Dog RC) was first female in 21:11 whilst Sabrina Norton (Bungay Black Dog RC) set a new personal best of 21:46 in second place. Lisa Symon was third in 22:09.
Wendy Sutton celebrated her 400th parkrun in 33:52 whilst Michael Childs clocked up his 350th in 23:54. Sarah E Brown ran her 150th event whilst Adrian Grand (Norwich Road Runners) enjoyed his 100th. Keith Wilding hit the 50 mark in 36:36.

Lowestoft
City of Norwich AC athlete Dominic Oliver broke the 17-minute barrier as he led a field of 312 runners home at Lowestoft on Saturday.
Jim Burgess (Waveney Valley AC) set a new personal best of 17:22 in second place with Arron McKoy (Lowestoft Road Runners) third in 18:38.
Tracy Prewer (Lowestoft Road Runners) was first female in 22:42 with youngster Kathryn Skazick second in 23:07. Louise White was third in 23:16.
Lowestoft Road Runner David Graham notched up his 50th parkrun in 24:44.

King's Lynn
Matt Pyatt (Renegade Runners) was nearly a minute ahead of the rest of the field at King's Lynn as he came home in 16:37.
Dominic Hughes set a new personal best of 17:36 in second with Rob Simmonds (Ryston Runners AC) third in 18:03.
Claudia Milburn (Fenland Running Club) was first female in 21:04 whilst Elisabeth Clough (Three Counties AC) was second in 21:23. Junior runner Mai Loram was third in 22:21.
Nicky Howard enjoyed her 200th parkrun in 26:46 whilst Ian Wiggins and Jane Hipperson celebrated their 100th events in 21:48 and 34:41 respectively. Ed Weightman hit 50 in 26:32.
