Slow going at Beccles

Series D continued last Saturday at Beccles ASC as sailors, grateful for high water, made slow progress in the very light south westerly breeze.

In race one of the Winter Tankard, Jonathan Blankley and Jackie Soards, in the RS200 Blue RS Fly, forged ahead to take another win. In his Laser Shadow Surfer Charlie Folkard had the best race two start, followed closely by Blankley.

Five juniors in Toppers enjoyed the closest racing during the afternoon. In race one of the Tann Trophy, Rowan Curtis in Animal was first, with Poppy Roll in Twilight winning race two.
