Wisbech’s miserable run in London 3NE continued as they slipped further away from safety.
The relegation-threatened club ran mid-table Brentwoods close but still lost their eighth match in a row.
Tries from Joe Barfoot (2), Tom Martell, Shane Vickers plus two conversions and a penalty from Mark Laws gave Wisbech hope.
But it wasn’t enough and Wisbech now sit seven points adrift from fourth-from-bottom Sudbury.
