Beccles awarded points after Wisbech call-off

Beccles remained on top of London 2NE on Saturday after being awarded an away win at Wisbech.

The Gatehouse Lane pitch was waterlogged and deemed unfit for play before the weekend, and the authorities decreed that the match should be played at Beccles. Sadly for Wisbech they were unable to raise a full side for an away fixture and were forced to concede the points. As a result Beccles are three pooints clear of nearest rivals South Woodham Ferrers and Norwich, who both won their home matches.
