The first of the unaffiliated dressage shows at Lime Kiln Farm attracted plenty of competitors who were looking to gain their trailblazers, veteran horse dressage and UK riders qualifications, to keep judge Dena Green busy all day.
The walk and trot test at the Hack Up Ltd-sponsored event was won by Clare Green and Darcy, just one mark ahead of seven-year-old Robbie Bell and his pony Ben, competing in their first dressage test together.
Melanie Allen, riding Tarken, won the prelim 4, with Emma Newman and Brett in second place.
Melanie then went on to take third spot in prelim 12, behind winner Mollie Rix on Titanic, scoring an impressive 67.2pc, and second-placed Judith Johnson and Guy.
Mollie and Titanic also took top spot in novice 27, with Balleyroe Rose, ridden by Shelley Harwood, in second.
The final two classes of the day, the novice 28 and elementary 50 provided a double win for Alison Bailey and her own Manderly Classic.
The next Hack Up dressage show takes place on February 17. Schedules and full event listings can be found at www.limekilnfarmec.co.uk.
