The showjumping started with a 40cm clear round with all competitors achieving a clear round winning a rosette. Classes 50cm-1m then included a hoof and woof, won by Karen Rose riding Katie, with dog Meg completing a small agility course and enjoying the sausage she won for her round!

Sunday brought out over 70 horses and ponies competing for their Trailblazers first round qualifications. There were some super rounds and excellent jump-offs throughout the day with riders achieving double clears qualifying for the second round at Forest Edge on Sunday, March 18. Qualifiers at the second rounds can then go to the Grand Trailblazers Finals at Stoneleigh in July.

Winners of the classes were Hevenli Hewitt and Reagan (65cm 12yrs & under), Ben Gale and Quick Silver (65cm Open), Abby Bedford and Rising Sun (70cm Open), Paige Staff and Supernova Starlight (75cm), Rhianna Jones and Hall of Mirrors (80cm Open), Larrisa Clifton and Brightwood Clover (85cm), Christina Faulkner and Gypsy Rose (95cm), Rhianna Jones and Irish True Colours(1.05cm).

This weekend there is a Blue Chip Indoor Eventer Trial on Saturday, which is the last qualifier for the Championships at Forest Edge on Sunday, February 26, and Indoor Driving Trials on Sunday. For further details see the website www.forestedgearena.com or tel 01760 722616.
