Several competitors used the trial to practice for the eventing season while others were trying to qualify for the Blue Chip final at Forest Edge on Sunday, February 26.

Class winners were Ellie Bailey and Poppy (60cm), Kirsty Saunderson and Sadie (70 & 80cm), Angie Hannant and Kiltijane (90cm), Carly Day and Pepsi (1m) and Roy Hart with Harvest Moon (1.10m). The snow forced the cancelation of Sunday’s Indoor Driving.

There is an affiliated British Showjumping Senior Show this Friday and Saturday with the last Unaffiliated Rands & Wilson showjumping qualifier on Sunday, including the Pony Club Dengie qualifier class. It is open to everyone with classes from 50cm-1m. For details go to www.forestedgearena.com or call 01760 722616.
