They opened the scoring with a solo goal by Sarah Shelley and further goals by Caroline Illing and Rebecca Green made it 3-0 at the break.

In the second half Shelley struck again with the help of a lucky deflection from a defender and Lauren Lawrie completed the scoring.

UEA won 2-0 at Watton and third-placed Dereham 2nds beat their own 3rds by a single Lulu Humberston goal to keep up the chase in second and third places.

Meanwhile Diss edged a five-goal thriller against Beccles thanks to a hat-trick from Gaby Rolingson.

After a scoreless first half a tactical change to bolster the midfield paid instant dividends when Rolingson broke away to shoot past the Beccles keeper. Five minutes later she had her second, but Beccles fought back to make it 2-2 and looked favourites to complete a comeback win until Rolingson hit an unstoppable shot for a thrilling winner.

Norwich Dragons 4ths are well clear at the top of Division Two after a 6-0 thrashing of Lowestoft Railway 2nds.

They were 4-0 up at the interval through Annika Richardson, Marcy Windsor Waite, Lucy Campbell and Catherine Bourassa.

Although Lowestoft came back determinedly in the second half Dragons claimed two more from Debbie Santa Clara and a home defender.

Liz Hollis got the only goal for Sprowston 3rds from a short corner as they won away to Norwich City 6ths, whose Alice Wells made some fabulous saves on her debut in goal.
