Hundreds of people have taken part in the East Coast Run along Great Yarmouth seafront.
Starting at St George’s Park, the route of today’s 10km road race took competitors along North Drive and Marine Parade. About 420 people took part.
Rod Shulver, Great Yarmouth Road Runners treasurer, said the annual event had become the highlight of the club’s race calendar.
The first to cross the line was 24-year-old Piers Arnold, from the City of Norwich Athletics Club, in 33m55s.
The first woman was 42-year-old Odette Robson, of the Bury St Edmund Pacers, in 38m52s.
The East Coast Run is organised by Great Yarmouth Borough Council in association with the Great Yarmouth Road Runners club and open to people of all abilities aged 16 and over.
All runners received a bespoke memento, and over 18s were also presented with a bottle of Adnams beer.
