To mark the official launch and new kit of the group ten of the 35-strong Belles met up with Steve Hockings Thompson, Olympic Torchbearer and RNLI deputy Coxswain and successful Triathlete.

The ladies have been meeting on Mondays and Thursdays for the last six years under the previous name of Women’s Running Network (WRN).

After the WRN ceased operating in 2011 the Exmouth group continued to meet and formed a new group under the Association of Running Clubs (ARC).

Members, of all ages and abilities, meet each week to maintain fitness and to encourage each other to train for organised events including marathons, half marathons and shorter 5 and 10k distances.

New members are always welcome. Further details can be obtained from one of the three leaders Clare Medlock on 07794133962
