Royal Naval Reservists from St Katharine’s Way were among those honoured at a City Hall ceremony recognising the military contribution to London 2012.
The Reservists are based at HMS President, moored near Tower Bridge, and were formally thanked at the event earlier this month for their role in making the London Olympics and Paralympics such a success.
The ship’s chief petty officer Linda Hadcocks said: “I feel extremely proud and privileged to have played a role in supporting the country and contributing to a successful, safe and secure Olympic Games”.
More than 18,000 military personnel were deployed during the Games, with hundreds staying in the Tobacco Dock site in Wapping after being drafted just days before the start of the Olympics.
Norwich City has released the first images of its new kit for the 2013/14 Premier League season - and released an online video to promote it.
