Carrow Road is no longer hosting an under-23s game this Sunday, with City moving their approaching match against Wolverhampton Wanderers to St George's Park to protect the pitch.

Matt Gill's development squad were due to take on Wolves in the Premier League Cup group stages at 2pm on Sunday but the game will now be at 7pm on Friday, February 9, at the Football Association's National Football Centre, near Burton.

City are currently tied on seven points with Wolves at the top of Group C, thanks to a 1-0 home win over Bournemouth last month, with Todd Cantwell scoring a late winner.

The Canaries have lost just one of their last seven games, after a 2-0 defeat of Reading at Carrow Road on Sunday. With a first-team game having been played the day before and the U18s playing at the stadium in the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday night, the change will help protect the pitch.

Entry to Friday's game is free, see canaries.co.uk for further details.
