Norwich striker Carlton Morris scored his fifth goal of the season to help keep League One surprise package Shrewsbury unbeaten and top of the table.

The 21-year-old headed home a Junior Brown cross from the left in the 24th minute, scoring the second of a 4-0 home thrashing of Bristol Rovers. Five minutes later Morris, released down the right by fellow City loanee Ben Godfrey, crossed to allow Jon Nolan to score the third.

Elsewhere in the third tier, left-back Harry Toffolo played the full match as Doncaster won 2-1 at home against Portsmouth, starting his fourth league game in succession as he begins to establish himself at Rovers.

Canaries defender Sean Raggett was the hero as he returned to the Lincoln team, scoring an 83rd-minute winner as the Imps won 1-0 at Swindon. The centre-back missed Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Cambridge after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season but headed the winner to extend his side’s unbeaten run to seven matches.
