Angus Gunn wants to enjoy the winning feeling over Ipswich again but will not let the fact he is a Norwich City fan affect his focus at Carrow Road tomorrow.

The Norwich-born son of Canaries legend Bryan Gunn has enjoyed a fine campaign on loan from Manchester City so far, including October 1-0 victory at Portman Road.

While the 22-year-old allowed himself to enjoy the success with the away fans at full-time, he will not be thinking like a fan once the game begins.

'We managed to get the win at Portman Road earlier in the season, which was a great feeling,' Gunn said.

'The supporters went home happy and hopefully we can emulate that this weekend. We deserved it on the day so now we just need to get our heads down and focus on this game.

'Before and after the game, it definitely means a lot more to me than most other games. Being a fan, I've got good memories of recent years.

'As soon as it gets to 12 o'clock, I've got to focus on my job and treat it as any other game.'

The teams go into Sunday's midday fixture tied on points, knowing that any slim hopes of a play-off chase are likely to depend on derby day victory.

City have lost just one of their last eight matches but Town have only won two of their last nine games, teeing up a contest which should be closely contested in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

'We've just got to focus on the task because the main thing for us is the three points,' Gunn added, speaking to City's official website.

'We're in good form and are working well in this formation. It's worked pretty well and in the last few months we've kept quite a few clean sheets.

'Going into a derby game it doesn't really matter how you're playing, it's just about getting the job done on the day. We have to focus.'
