  • Steely. Had Rosler not joined Wigan mid way through last season i'd be wanting him as well. Just cant see him jumping ship again so soon.

  • It`s not `Gift` in the German sense, el dingo. Honestly. I wouldn`t poison you. You`re not a bad ol` boy for a Tattfreak! Amazing that we knew the same people from Wroxham Hotel, Armes Street etc. A very small world, really. Perhaps we are all too big for it? Steely Dan has now taken charge of the Minutes of the Meeting. Dangerous! Suggest to Fagen that we try The King`s Head next time. Beer selection at Pargeter`s Parts a bit poor, really. Not so much of the effing "ageing" stuff, Fagen. Aged. ;-)

  • The impression that I had from the large number of posters who gathered at the Plasterers yesterday is that people are not exactly over the moon with the state of the club. Suggestions for a new manager were varied although there was some strong support for another German, Uwe Rosler. Other topics covered were the usual eclectic bunch. In no particular order :- farming in Mallorca, patenque, PP Arnold, Sting, Delia, McNally, Lambert, Burley, Joe Meek, Heinz Burt, lawyers, boerewors, Lee Power, Chris Martin, et al. Blaffen surprised everyone by not looking like Ray Winstone and the Brew more an ageing Billy J Kramer than Alfie Bass. Dingo was Sting and Fagen didn't really look like Fagen. Who else has Donald's Mitchelin-man mouth ? In fact Fagen was more a gentile (or gentle) version of the other Dan frontman Walter Becker. The Crab was just happy. Here's to the next one.

  • I Just bothered to do the poll and what surprised me was a majority of peoples answer to the last question regarding 1 thing to be changed off the field. It appears a large amount of people still want the stadium expanded. I however totally agree with McNally that this is the last thing we need to focus on right this second. Every game there is still tickets on general sale & when ever one of my lot with a ST cant attend we really struggle to give the ticket away let alone sell it. Id much prefer keeping a virtually full Carrow Road with a rocking Atmosphere to expanding and just seeing large patches of unsold seats like at Ipswich, Middlesbrough & others. All in good time, along with continued success (hopefully).

  • Mixture. Those who know who he is, know hes very good. However those who know who he is know he is extremely unlikely to take up a managers job at all let alone NCFC in the english championship. The fact that you could potentially vote for the same person 100000030432432532235 times also made the poll a complete farce. I suspect someone was extremely bored yesterday and after doing a google search and kept voting for him. After a few hours Malky & Lennon were clear favourites but its suddenly changed within 30 minutes and kept picking up momentum after that.

  • Well I suppose it is the silly season. I notice we aren't allowed to comment on the "Ralf Rangnick is fans' choice for manager" article. Does anyone else find that a bit fishy? I notice the guy also won the Birmingham Mail's poll for the new WBA manager, last December. I'm sure City fans are very knowledgeable about German football ... but really?

  • The good thing about NCFC is that we are solvent, unlike lots of other clubs well in debt. That is a lot to be thankful for. We got promotion to the Premiership and we will again, but as I said we solovent
