Two very late goals turned potential victory into defeat for Norwich City Under-18s as they went down 3-2 at West Ham in Saturday’s FA Premier Academy League match.
The young Canaries led twice and were 2-1 ahead in the closing stages until the Hammers struck twice to repeat the scoreline from their victory at Colney in September.
Norwich City’s U21 development squad’s fixture against table-topping West Ham U21s at Colney today has been called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
A magnificent solo goal by midfielder Jonny Howson clinched a notable victory for Norwich City as they wrapped up their season by beating Premier League runners-up Manchester City on their own ground.
