Mustard Sport reports from Norwich City’s Colney training ground as the Canaries look to shake off a disappointing festive period so far with a positive result at fellow strugglers Crystal Palace on New Year’s Day (3pm).

Palace’s recovery has been impressive since Tony Pulis’ arrival – his first game in charge saw City win 1-0 at Carrow Road at the end of November.

But the return fixture has plenty of pressure on Canaries boss Chris Hughton as City look to keep something of a gap to them and the top-flight’s bottom three.

Hughton and midfielder Bradley Johnson took the pre-match press conference to tee up Wednesday’s clash.

  • How false these interveiws are, same old story trotted out."We finished all right last season so lets all lay back and relax" No wonder the team hardly ever put any decent perfomances in when the management show such a lack of urgency saying it will all be alright on the night. The team play as though they can't be bothered and are just going through the motions most games. Against Man U was the first time I have felt entertained even when they have managed to win a game at home the play has been very boring.
