Video footage of Grant Holt scoring in a cup final at Wembley aged 11 has been found online.
Nearly 10,000 schools took part in the Smiths Crisps Cup for Under-11 teams in 1992 with the final being played at Wembley before the Schoolboy international fixture.
Grant Holt captained the Inglewood School from Carlisle in the final of the competition against Ixworth School, Bury St Edmunds and scored with a firm header in a 2-0 win before climbing to the royal box to lift the trophy.
The video - introduced by Saint and Greavsie - was brought to the attention of Norwich City fans on Twitter by Holt who tweeted “Me slapping Ipswich at 11 ha classic.”
Norwich City officials confirmed on Monday night the release of ten players from the club – headlined by the departure of Canadian international Simeon Jackson.

I wonder why it took so long for Holty to "emerge"? Seems to have been a talented player and leader from his early youth.

No.2 shirt! Was he a right back in those days? Is there nothing this man cannot do on a footy pitch?

I wonder if Holty got a truck-load of crips as a prize? I used to live near Ixworth but not then. So GH has "done" Ixworth and 1p5wich and moved on from Suffolk to greater things.

Wow - just like the goal he scored recently against Swansea. I have to say that the Swansea marking was not as good, though.
