  • @Pa Snipps, what an interesting post. I quote, "The defence does not matter . . . . " Mmmm, I admit that's a new concept. Quite what CH's take on that would be, I'm not sure.

  • Although a starting eleven is good in some ways, I do worry that the likes of Wes and Andrew Surman will start to fret if left on the bench too many times. I can see the vultures hovering round about January. I do NOT want to read that PL has come in for Wes any time soon!

  • It's about 3hrs since I posted that observation...Has everyone gone on holiday?..Is no one interested in the Norwich formation? I thought I was in contact with City fans. Let' me live in hope that the manager will take notice! Yes I will elaborate further if needbe!

  • Not to worry Pa, out late tonight. Wes is great and we would not be here without him, but I am like the Pilks-Snodders-Johnson-Howson thing that is going on at the moment as well. It would be great if we can put out a number of different formations as needs be, I am sure Wes' time will come again.

  • I cannot understand the question of Wes Hoolahan fitting or not fitting into the side! How can you make an omelette without eggs?... Answer !..you can't! Hoolahan should be the FIRST name on the team sheet, and then the others fit in around him! God! It's so obvious. Put his name down first. Next, it's Holt ahead of him, then Snodgrass and either Howson or Surman to his left, and Johnson and Pilkington to his right. This is about scoring goals. The defence does not matter , they only have to stop the opposition, not create anything!
