Norwich City defender Steven Whittaker has been named in the Scotland squad to face Luxembourg in a friendly on November 14.
But there is no place for his City team-mate, winger Robert Snodgrass, nor for fellow defender Russell Martin, who has been out of action with a back problem.
The match will be played at the Josy Barthel Stadium, Luxembourg’s national stadium.
Interim Scotland manager Billy Stark is in charge of the side after the sacking of Craig Levein.
Norwich City have confirmed their first fixture in a three-game USA summer tour will be against Mexican side Club Dorados de Sinaloa in Sacramento on July 18.
