City slipped into the bottom three on Sunday after Sunderland hammered Cardiff City 4-0 following on from the Canaries’ own 4-0 loss at Manchester United on Saturday evening.

Norwich must now look to take points from title-challenging Chelsea and FA Cup finalists Arsenal and rely on stumbles from the Black Cats to stay in the top flight.

“There is a massive amount of pressure that goes on, each day, as an individual, to give everything you have got,” said Snodgrass, speaking at the Scottish PFA awards on Sunday night. “You need to better yourself every day to give yourself the best possible chance to stay in this division. It doesn’t get any easier, playing against the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, but it’s what you want to be in the Premier League for, to play against the best. We’ll roll our sleeves up and try to give a good account of ourselves and get a few results.”

  • Snods will be at Celtic in a flash...people talking about Lennon coming to 'check us out', but he was blatantly here to see Snods (He came to a couple of games in Jan - around the time of the speculation). No one will take Bassong, we're the only fools who would give him high wages and hand him the captaincy...that was the worst decision Hoot'n made (amongst many, many bad decisions)

  • If Fer and Ruddy aren't gone first. I just hope nobody contemplates keeping Bassong or RvW. Loan 'em if we can't sell 'em. One of our more creative midfielders, unfortunately, is highly unlikely to be playing for us next season. Like a certain winger I could name, he has had quite enough of Colney. Allegedly.

  • I expect Snodgrass will be the first player out the door as he will be wanted by other EPL clubs after some decent performances this season.
