Good morning Steady On, I hope you are having a good day. You are correct in that you did not actually say that EVERY football manager knows what he is doing but when you say: "He's a professional football manager. He knows what he is doing", it does tend to imply that you are suggesting the second statement is evidenced by the first. I don't really understand why we should feel "Mugged off" whatever that vulgar phrase may mean. We heaped, possibly excessive amounts of scorn on Hughton because he selected a single striker format for games they should be expected to win, failed to make appropriate substitutions when despite being the better team they could not score and then rued the lack of goals. Now by selecting two strikers and making a good positive substitution, the team won. I am by no means suggesting that Hughton took advice from this site but I do feel that the moaners have been proved right. Don't you feel a tiny bit grateful?
