I want to complain about this content:

  • People moan - they get told to go elsewhere and support Ipswich. People praise - they get called happy clappers. Where's the middle ground? For what it's worth, if Hughton keeps us up he will have done a good job. In terms of budget, we're probably in the bottom two with Wigan in the Premier League. We do the best with what we've got at the moment. Our main problem is that we don't have any pace in the side and our most creative player can't shoot. The formation Hughton plays wouldn't be as negative if we had players with pace in the wide positions. Then the 4-5-1 could become a 4-3-3 when breaking forward. The other issue is that Hoolahan is the player behind the striker and he can't shoot. As creative as he is, we don't get enough goals out of him. If we do stay up we need to sort these problems out and we won't have to rely on Snodgrass' set pieces. Sadly goalscorers and pacy players are the most expensive ones and we don't have a great deal of money. That said, I'm baffled by Hughton's really late substitutions. Even Worthy changed things at 70 minutes.
